Michael and Kristin's Home to Cherish

Outside Log Home When Michael and Kristin Bruno began thinking of building a new home, a log home wasn’t the first thing that came to mind. However, as they looked at floor plans they saw how nice a log home would look in their country setting and they decided a log home might be what they were looking for. Michael wrote that in researching the various log home companies to choose from, once he began asking around, “the Coventry brand name was spoken of in high regard.” In deciding to go with Coventry Log Homes, they decided the Fairfield was the plan that best met their needs.

Currently the two make their permanent home in Oregon, while Michael serves in active duty in the military and Kristin works as a high school teacher. They look forward to moving into their new log home in Bethlehem, NH when Michael retires from the military in 2009. Until then, their log home makes a wonderful vacation getaway which they love sharing with family and friends.

One of Michael and Kristin’s favorite rooms in their new home is the living room. Michael wrote that they love sitting on the couch watching the flames in their fireplace and enjoying the openness of the cathedral ceiling. The home is also complimented nicely by the 2000 acres of preserved forest, a great place for them to trek through the woods and enjoy the outdoors on their snowshoes.

When Michael wrote to us, he told us, “Our original plan was to rent the log home to skiers and other visitors to the White Mountains.Living Room Fire place However, after seeing the final product we cherish our home too much to rent out. It is our home for family and friends to enjoy!”
