Log Home Company Helps Community Baseball Teams

Baseball has always been an American tradition just like log homes. So when Coventry Log Homes (Woodsville, NH) heard that a local little league team was in need of dugouts to be able to play in the upcoming season to meet regulations, the company “pitched” right in.

Not far from home plate the kids were sitting on open benches waiting for their turn to bat.

Mark Elliott, Vice President at Coventry, said “we were asked by a local coach to see if we could help build some dugouts to protect the kids playing; it didn’t take any convincing of Jeff Elliott (President of Coventry) to donate the Log Dugouts”

While the company did not have much time to design, produce, construct and deliver the dugouts before the season they still made it in time. With the help of several employees the company was able to finish them in less than 7 days from start to completion.
“Its fun to help out the local community and give back to the kids something they can enjoy, the town went from having no dugouts to having beautiful solid log dugouts that other towns are envious of” said Mark Elliott

A big thank you to Doug Thornton and Dylan Dickenson from Coventry’s drafting department for their hard work, designing and constructing the dugouts.
