The CRAFTSMAN STYLE is distinguished by its use of large exposed beams in the loft and roof areas. The Truss and Purlin Roof System allows for a post and beam look. Large exposed timbers are used to frame the second-floor (loft) and are topped with two-inch T&G boards. The Craftsman Style roof trusses are typically the homes center piece incorporating expansive timbers accentuated with rugged steel plates which securely hold them. Craftsman Style railings come standard with round spindles and rails to complete the look.

The TRADESMAN STYLE is distinguished by its smooth lines and limited use of exposed beams. The second-floor system (loft), incorporates conventional construction allowing the first-floor ceiling to hide electrical wiring and plumbing. Roof systems are traditionally constructed with rafters placed at 16” o.c. which allows for several insulation options. The Tradesman Style will have exposed posts and tie beams per the design needs. The railings are made of square stock, but can be upgraded to round railings if you desire.
